Fire Of Efforts And Shine Of Appreciation

The fools are those who appreciate only the shine of success but a true appreciator is one who knows to appreciate the efforts behind the glorious shine of success. So from the magic box of my short stories I, Rahul serve this short story to you helping to enhance your personality. But before getting started I request you to follow my blog if you like reading such short stories. Once in a big city there lived three friends who lived more as brothers than friends they all were in same college before and now were working in a big IT company. They lived in a rented aprtment in the city. It was a normal day and two of them were getting ready while the third was stil sleeping they woke him up and asked him to get ready as there was an important meeting in the office that day. After getting frustated in traffic they now reached the office had a cup of coffee and started preparing for their presentation in the meeting.

The meeting started around 12 noon and all of them were called to the meeting room at once. Now it was the time to present what they have achieved through their skills. One by one all of them gave their presentation and now it was the time for results after a long dicussion the board members came to the result. They decided to follow the idea of the third friend to which other two friends being jelous started whispering, " How could this happen we worked so hard, we woke early to prepare for it while he was still sleeping this couldn't be." A board member sitting beside them listening their whispers replied," You might feel like that today because you only saw the shine of this man's success never thought what efforts he might have made remember my dear even a lamp has to burn to give the light which is appreciated by everyone you might have worked hard and even had waken up early but this man he might have prepared this presentation when you were asleep."

Board member's words made the other friends realise that their feeling of jealousy was wrong . You see in life many of us are like those who only appreciate the light of the lamp and not the burning efforts to achieve the brightness.
